Heneral Artikulo Uno

There was a buzz going on about the movie, Heneral Luna. Reviews said that it was a phenomenal portrayal of some parts of the Philippine history. So one afternoon me and my blockmates went out on our spare time to watch the movie at Glorieta 4.
As the first scene went by, showcasing how hard life back then was when the Americans were colonizing the Philippines.

Antonio Luna was deemed one of the best military strategist by his counter parts. His expertise in the field of war made him in par with the generals America had to offer. He wouldn't have nothing else but the freedom of his motherland.

The movie delighted us with excellent display of acting, pre-post war preparations made by the past Filipinos, corrupt existing then as it were the present, the unraveling love of General Luna to the nation he gave his life for, and many more.

The movie was made with a lot of drama and suspense. From simple misunderstanding that leads to killing to another, to how one man's love for his country tolled his very own life. It is very sad yet educational for the young viewers.
